If schools are closed for the day or close early unexpectedly, TKA will not have class. If the school day ends normally but weather is becoming a factor, you may call the inclement weather hotline at: 240-777-6889 for updates.
If the location you choose has a 5:30/6:00 pm class, beginners and white belts must attend that class. The 7:00 o’clock class is for intermediate and advanced youth only. If there is no 5:30/6:00 pm class at your location, all students attend the 7:00 o’clock class.
Winter classes start January 8 and 9 for Monday and Tuesday classes, and January 3 and 4 for Wednesday and Thursday classes. Click the blue link below under “registration” to register for TKA classes in Montgomery County. Classes will be indoors and will follow Montgomery County government guidelines regarding masks and other COVID safety measures.
Registration is through the Montgomery County Recreation Department. To register, visit the ActiveMontgomery website and scroll down to find a class with a time and location that will work for you. Click the class’ name and on the next screen click the “Add to Selection List” button to add that class to your cart.
Note: you will need to create an ActiveMontgomery account in order to complete your registration.
